"Whenever we visit NOLA we usually stay at this location. The location is excellent for visiting the French Quarter and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. However, this stay is making us think we have stayed here for the last time. Our room was worn and didn’t feel clean. The wallpaper in the bathroom was coming off, the soap dispenser fell off the wall in the shower and the mattress was deplorable! When I reported these to the lady at the desk she said the hotel needed renovations. asked why I was given a room that needed renovations and she didn’t reply. This is the second Wyndham we have stayed at that hasn’t stood up to the usual Wyndham standard we had known in the past. I guess it’s time to move on."

Sheraton New Orleans Hotel

"We come down to NOLA at least once a year. First time staying at the Sheraton on Canal St and the staff is great! Everyone very kind and helpful. The rooms could use a good deep clean and some updating. The carpet was extremely dirty. It is dark brown and you could see black stains all over it. The edges were so dusty they were white. Our socks were filthy from walking on it. I’m not sure what was happening with the air conditioning but every time it kicked on there were visible particles in the air. It’s too bad because the staff is amazing. The Westin or Hyatt Centric are much cleaner."
