"Unfortunately tainted as the room we stayed in smelt of cigarettes and don’t blame the smoker for opening up the window and having a cheeky smoke as we we were soooo far away from reception we had to take Kendal mint cake for the hike and phone had no signal or idea called an uber lol
This was valentines night and a treat for my partner which turned out to be the beginning of the end of 4 year relationship ! March now and single ! My own fault but partly blame the lazy smoker ( don’t really )
Other than the points I’ve mentioned HANDS DOWN best hotel in Eastbourne ! I just won’t be needing. It again :( "
"Room looking our to sea beautiful. Only complaint was that it was lovely to be offered a free glass of wine but no alternative offered for those of us who do not drink. Well done apart from that."
"The room smelt of damp. The wall in the bathroom, was visibility damp.
Breakfast was very poor quality.
The lady serving started arguing, when I asked about the wrong flavour of tea being served, and she still got the breakfast order wrong, dispite, asking several times and writing it down. The place was clean, but very tired.
I dont expect to be told breakfast was at eight o'clock, however on stating that this was too early, a later time was agreed .
I would not return "
"An excellent establishment where have stayed many times.
As with all hospitality businesses there are occasional issues however, they are dealt with correctly as and when they do occur."
"The room was disgusting, wall papper hanging of ceiling and walls, also stained with what looks like water marks, cobwebs round the windows and what has to be the most uncomfortable bed with only 1 pillow each which was lumpy and as hard as concrete, paint peeling off the walls, and drafty is an understatement, the windows are as rotton as hell, the place needs a co.plete refurbishment offthewalls, 1pullow each"
