"This hotel could not be more convenient for getting off the train in the CBD. Easy walk to many local areas. Great roof top with free coffee and bar available. Rooms slightly small and filled with big bed. amazingly trains downstairs go everywhere including direct line to airport just 15 minutes away. Limited breakfast but several great coffee shops literally next door."

"Hotel dates from 1972 and has that grand feel about it with touches like the staircase railings and lift entrances. Although some updating has taken place, the carpets looked pretty new and clean some of the decor in the corridors was a bit 'tired'. My room was very clean with a kettle and coffee making facilities although the addition of a microwave would have been useful. The room had a great view of the harbour and bridge, a special mention must go to the pillows which were numerous and exceptionally comfortable. The hotel was comfortably within a 30 minute leisurely walk to the Circular Quay of the Harbour bridge. Parking in Sydney is pretty demanding so to have the use of an underground car park on site for the reasonable cost of $25 per day was fantastic. Staff were courteous at all times, Deejay was particularly helpful. "

"Great location and pool. Room dated and in need of a good overhaul and repair with loose floor tiles, old kitchen cabinets. A few cleanable areas that need to be cleaned (side of fridge). Bed was comfortable and clean sheets. Light switches location poorly considered."
