"Stayed here for one night with family. Overall a lovely place, but a few minor issues. There is an extra charge for swimming facilities unless you book directly. At £10 per person, including children over 6, this proved expensive for a half hour swim to entertain the children. The pool was also too cold to take our 7 month old in for very long. We had a junior suite, which provided ample space for myself and 2 children. Unfortunately there was no cot available when asked at check-in. The receptionist mentioned another family had already asked and she was trying to source one for them so seems like they don't have a great supply of these. The restaurant was pretty good, nice food and reasonable prices, but a little slow on service and only opened at 6pm so we were there quite late with small children. They also had 4 EV charging spaces, which were all available when we stayed."

"Location is in city center. Overall condition is not a good as I saw on picture. Elevator is not working so we had to carry luggage to our room (staff did say they can help). The carpet in public area is old and has smell. Room is ok but noise isolation is poor. Car park is small and £10 overnight. Staff is polite. Breakfast is good."

"Dirty bathroom, rooms in need of modernisation. Wouldn’t recommend. Standard of cleanliness of rooms generally leaves a lot to be desired. Indicative of the standards is the note left by the housekeeping team….. on a notepad that had previously been soaked by an unknown liquid. Not sure what’s worse - the fact that they didn’t even notice or the fact that they did, and didn’t think it was an issue. Generally run down, wouldn’t return. "

"The hotel is quite a new one so its very nice and modern. Rooms are spacious enough and clean. Bathrooms are fantastix"

"Rushton Hall is a wonderful place. It sits in immaculate grounds and the building has a fascinating history (ask to see the priest hole!) All the staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. The pool was warm and clean. Food delicious and well-served. Highly recommended 👌. "
