"We have stayed at the Essex St. Inn 3 or 4 times. We love the quaintness, feels like you're staying in someone's home, not a uniform hotel room. Everything is so walkable, walk on the Trail by the water, they have swings & Adirondack chairs, restaurants & bars & shops are steps from the Hotel. Highly recommended!"

"Everyone was super friendly; hotel staff made sure we knew about the restaurant they had and made great recommendations for almost any type of food you could imagine, rooms were clean and the beds were comfy."

"We enjoyed our stay and due to the weather extended it an extra night with no problems. There is no front desk service -- all communication with our hosts was done through text messaging, but they were quick to respond, and our room was made up daily. The room was lovely and very comfortable. No breakfast or food on site, but there are good dining options a short walk into town. Great location for exploring the waterfront and downtown Rockport!"
