"I booked a handicap room and also a room for my friend and her husband. When we checked in, I was told the handicap room wasnt available because of how busy they were the night before(?) He told me he had one on the second floor though. When and why would a handicap room be on the second floor??? The room I ended up with, the toilet wouldn’t flush. It took 3-5 flushes to get it to go down. I had no electricity to the outlets on either side of the sink, no hot water for a shower, and no wash clothes. My friend's room (next door to mine) also had no hot water, no wash clothes, toilet wouldnt flush (just like mine), the bed my friends husband took, the sheets were bloody, and the other bed hadnt been changed either. Sheets crumpled, bottom corner hanging, not tucked in. Her dog pee'd on the floor, so she cleaned it up, and the towel was black. Floors not swept or mopped!! I have stayed at this hotel for 10+ yrs when I needed to go in to Juarez, and this is the first time there were any problems. I did find out the hotel changed hands about a year and a half ago. New owner and management have let this location go to "the dogs". I dont know about the other La Quintas he/they own. Was only offered 50% refund for each room. As far as Im concerned, I should have been refunded in full. I will never book at a La Quinta again, especially this location!!!!"
