"The unit was right above the bar and other entertainment common areas. It was loud till around 22:00. The hotel animator was loud and overdone. Other than that, the ocean front was very shallow on the entire beach. Good for kids. Our hosts were excellent and very helpful. The unit was spacious and clean and very comfortable. Choose local off site restaurants rather than the buffet."

"The hotel is small, relatively new and built around a pleasant patio and small pool. Our balcony overlooked these. The hotel is about 2km from the closest beach and good restaurants so a car, while not essential, makes the trips more manageable."

"Attention, alors que nous croyions avoir loué un hôtel, il s'agit plutôt d'un appartement privé dans un hôtel. La prise en charge a donc été très pénible. Sinon, l'appartement (ou plutôt la grande chambre) est très bien. Propre et bien équipé. L'hôtel offre plusieurs services, mais vous n'aurez pas accès à tout si vous n'avez pas le bracelet approprié. "An absolute gem! The location was perfect, everything within walking distance, no car needed. The room was clean, well-equipped, and our family room even had a handy kitchenette for simple meals. The rooftop terrace was a lovely spot for quiet evenings, and the small pool was clean and refreshing. Everything was exactly as advertised. La Désirade is a fantastic choice for a peaceful getaway, I highly recommend Hotel Oasis! "
