"This is newly remodeled, and we had a great stay. Our room was not on the pool side, which saved us $ and was quieter. Great food: unlimited brunch was just super. Something for everyone. Live DJ but chill music, not a party hotel. Small but lovely pool for lounging. One block from the fast bus to Palma or the airport, so we didn't need to rent a car. "Wonderful hotel with convenient location. We had access to the city, you can walk everywhere from here. Great rooftop with yummy food and drinks. Pools were a little small so we went took a taxi to Cala Mayor. Our neighbor would knock on the wall like minutes from entering our hotel, that was inconvenient. We were whispering to be respectful but never loud. I even upgraded to a suite for convenience but we couldn’t talk, probably thin walls. 3 small blocks east, main shopping area and dinning. McDonald’s was close by. We walked until like mid-night & felt very safe."

Hotel Son Caliu Spa Oasis Superior

"This was our third stay at Son Caliu and it remains somewhere we genuinely love returning to. The hotel has a calm, Mediterranean feel and is perfect for switching off. Our standard room was clean, comfortable and well-equipped, and we appreciated the thoughtful welcome gifts as returning guests. The only downside was occasional corridor noise. Days were split between the pool and beach. The beach is still wonderfully peaceful, but the pool area felt busier than previous visits, with larger groups not always being mindful of noise, which slightly changed the usual relaxed atmosphere. We also happened to be there during a World Cup match, and the usually quiet Capricho Bar was full of British guests watching the game together, which was a fun touch. The main disappointment was dining. We tried half board, but the first evening was stressful due to difficulties explaining a nut allergy and lack of flexibility with the menu. Although it improved the next night, we chose to eat out instead. Thankfully there are great local restaurants nearby, and breakfast at the hotel remains excellent. We also used the spa before our late flight, which was a nice way to end the stay. Special thanks to Danny at the bar and a lovely member of the garden bar team for their warm, friendly service. Overall, we’ll definitely return, but next time we’ll stick to bed and breakfast."
