"The location was good, we found walkable places to eat at, check out Billy’s and get the pastrami sandwich. Room was clean and they were able to accommodate an early check in since we flew in on a red eye. "

"I wanted to get five stars because it started out that way. We’ve stayed here before, and none of the other hotels of the same caliber can compare. Unfortunately, halfway through we had terrible issues with the front staff and the drivers of the shuttle buses. They were providing free shuttle service on the hour to and from the convention center for a huge volleyball tournament. It was really great of them and the first day went well. We were dropped in front of the convention center and picked up in front of the convention center. The second day we were dropped at a random area near an adjoining hotel. And we were told this is where we would get picked up. That’s great except when I went to find that same area, I couldn’t. I asked so many people where the area could be. They weren’t exactly sure. I called the front desk several times and they said the driver was calling me which he wasn’t. I even tested that by having a stranger standing outside call me and the call came right through. So we were left there and had to get an Uber back. Meanwhile, all of their bellman carts had disappeared. They had no idea where they went, but they had been gone since the previous evening. I was going to be the one in charge of bringing down all the luggage and the packed cooler and everything and had no way of doing that myself. So we got up early, started bringing stuff down and I decided it would be better if the players took the shuttle while I continued to pack the car. I added them to "

"We really liked this hotel and will stay here when we visit again. The hotel is clean, updated and in a safe location. Walking distance to the JFK train and to the Old Harbour Waterfront Park. Breakfast was a little confusing, it is NOT a buffet as stated on the Expedia site. It is a small restaurant/Starbucks. We used the airport shuttle, which was on time, fast and the driver was friendly. I was very glad we did not have a car, as parking is $27 a night. I’d like to give special recognition to Fransisco, the front desk attendant. He was very attentive, consistently checking in with us to see how our visit was going. Additionally, he went out of their way to suggest a variety of activities around the city, even checking online for price and availability. His kindness did not go unnoticed. "

"Beautiful hotel. Walking distance to shops and plenty of places to eat. Easy access to public transportation. No airport shuttle but you don’t need it. The public bus will take you there in less than 15 minutes "
