"We didn’t have breakfast so scored a half way mark as we were not able to skip it in this review. It’s an old Campanile hotel now run by a small group so I support them all the way. It’s handy as the brown road signs are still there directing from the motorway. Still looks outdated but it’s being upgraded. Lidl a short walk away for groceries. It’s on a steep hill so watch out if it’s wet or icy. Could do with two pillows but a bath towel came in handy. TV wasn’t much good with reception and selection of channels."

"Really excellent budget hotel The room was clean, comfortable and very well designed. Only two very mild criticism. You had to put the card in "head first" to open the door but a member of staff appeared as if by magic to let me in. Secondly I brought my own kettle because you said you didn't provide one but I'm fact a kettle was there "

"The staff were so friendly and helpful on arrival. They helped with check in and were knowledgeable! They had also gone the extra mile for my daughter who was celebrating a birthday; adding a not, balloons, and gift. Honestly it was such a lovely surprise! "
