"Relaxing place to stay whilst visiting the Douro region. welcoming and helpful host. It is a c 10min walk from the station which is straightforward if fairly fit, otherwise a short taxi ride..great views over the valley and river from the rooms and pool area. Enjoyed our stay, would recommend"

"Beautiful setting. View of the terraced vineyards and the river makes you feel like you are part of a backdrop or a picture! So quiet and serene. Clean and friendly staff. Amazing breakfast included. Highly recommend."

"Great wine tour, great food in the main restaurant, the Terrace Pizza place and the breakfast. Lovely pool overlooking the river. Great staff, very very helpful when we couldn't get a taxi (only problem in Pinhao). Stayed one night, only regret is not staying for 2 nights."
