"We had a fantastic stay here. The chateau and gardens are beautiful, James & Cecile are gracious hosts, and the location is very convenient for wine and chateau visits."
"Really welcoming staff and a chance to stay in such a historic place in a stunning room. Surrounding Park is beautiful, the children enjoyed the swimming pool."
"La chambre est très spacieuse, propre et calme. Le jacuzzi sur la photo était en panne mais nous avons quand même passe un week-end très confortable . "
"Very attentive and pleasant staff. Beautiful chateau, rooms and grounds. Very convenient to Amboise and other areas such as Chenonceau. Fun to have a tennis court. And the pool was especially nice."
"My wife and I absolutely loved this stay. Beautiful home and very unique with it carved into the limestone. Additionally an added bonus was the dog the owners had who was simply the nicest dog we have ever met. It’s perfect location right in between some of the best wineries in the world. The pool area was perfect as well. Most importantly the staff was amazing they had several suggestions on places to go and all were perfect.
We can’t wait to return."
"Clean, air conditioned room, comfortable bed, good shower. Only one bedside table, no drawers or hanging space. The bar and restaurant had been very nicely refurbished. We sat outside for evening meal, garden bit overgrown and meal felt rushed but food was good. Breakfast was basic, just croissant, coffee, juice and bread. Good location for exploring the area."
"Lovely little hotel. Clean spacious rooms. Excellent staff. The hotel has an artsy bohemian feel to it with lots of colours and a welcoming feeling. We would definitely stay there again. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Le Gaimont. Our hosts Elisa and Mathieu were so welcoming and friendly and made our short stay truly memorable. The rooms are really comfortable and there are lots of places around the property to relax and enjoy the little haven of peace. Our 3 year old son loved playing in the heated pool and trying to be the boss of the very friendly hotel dog!
The whole hotel has been decorated beautifully and with lots of quirky touches. The owners obviously have great taste. This really was the best place we stayed and we’d thoroughly recommend La Gaimont. We hope to be back soon "
"Hosts/owners went above and beyond to make sure we had all the things we needed. Specifically arriving late on a Sunday evening and needing supper as they supplemented what food we did have.
The location of this place is so good, particularly if you are visiting the various wineries. I loved this place so much that I am trying to figure when to go back and bring all my friends!
Cool, cool art! "
