Disney's Maingate East hotel rooms a the Best Western

"We did not realize you had to call the schedule the cleaning staff so our room was not clean for 4 days and only once during the stay. The ice machine barely ever had ice in it, as there is 1 ice machine on the first floor for the entire complex. Breakfast is a nightmare, no matter what time we went there was seating and long lines. You cant take the food back to your room so we had to start having someone hold a table while everyone else got food. By the time the person that held the table got back with their food because it was so busy everyone else was done eating. Good food, but not great about refills or wiping down tables as people leave. Little store they have for pop and chips are way overpriced. The gate was nice for security but a pain to use. Pool was great and lots of seating, but they ran out of towels many times. Staff was very friendly and helpful."

"Room was roomy,clean.staff was extremely nice and helpful. We asked for recommendations for places to eat and we were given really good places. We grilled out one night too because they have 3 grills. I would highly recommend. "

"Always a good stay at Parkway. Two bedroom condo for the price of a hotel room. Always clean with a full kitchen to keep costs down. Pool and hot tub area are clean and warm. It is mostly retired people so limited on kids activities but overall an excellent stay. Staff were friendly and accommodated my special room request as always. "

"Staff were a true highlight. Liam at the front desk was remarkable — attentive and genuinely supportive throughout our stay. Bryan at the bar was equally amazing. Have patience during complimentary happy hour; you can grab your drink and return if you do not get a seat at the bar. Room requests were handled quickly and without hassle. Pet-Friendly: Very accommodating. We were near the elevator which made taking our pup out easy, but Buildings C & D sit closest to the trail and dog parks — definitely request those if you have a senior dog. Room: We stayed in the one-bedroom suite — a nice space, though showing its age. Kitchen, living area furniture, and shower hardware could use refinement. The shower handles detach easily (furthest left = off, right = hot). Request slippers — wood panel floors are hard to keep clean. Bed was firm and comfortable; request a comforter since the provided blanket is small. AC runs cool but felt stuffy — opening the balcony door at night helped. Amenities: The Wilson restaurant is great and easy. The pool is lovely during the day, but the party music and bright tree lights need to cut off around 8pm — music ran until 10:30pm, lights until 2:45am. Also: windows have no tint, so rooms are visible at night — be mindful on floors 1 and 2. Blackout curtains block your morning sun entirely & I hated having to use them. Would we return? Yes — but only when traveling with our dog, requesting Buildings C or D, and staying away from pool-facing rooms."
