"We didn’t eat breakfast. Spa was ok steam room didn’t work. Paid for 3 nights over £500 but we had twin beds which the mattress had no mattress protection on. I found myself having to lay on the quilt covers so not to be bitten having very sensitive skin. Was offered an upgrade of 35 euro each night for an upgrade but didn’t think I need it after we arrived late 9.30pm. "

"Be very careful especially if you are booking via Hotels.com. Evidenced by other talking to other guests as well as our own experience. They sent an email a day before our stay asking for local taxes in order to secure the room - which on inspection later turned out to be £40 overcharged compared with the Hotels.com invoice. They sent an email the day we left advising €607 would be deducted additionally. Whilst the latter turned out to be an error, dealing with Hotels.com (who are actually Expedia) turned out to be an unpleasant experience. I had to raise my voice to get the initial call handler to escalate and the complaint was not once acknowledged. After 80 minutes I managed to get the excess tax refunded. Wholly unpleasant. Other travellers mentioned charges to cards being a problem. BE VERY AWARE"

"I highly recommend this hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful, while the hotel is clean, well kept, and modern. The location is also really convenient, as the city center was only 3-5 stops away, yet you’re able to breathe a little without being a super crowded space. I’d definitely stay here again."

"The check-in process was bad as we have to wait in line for almost 40 minutes. There was not enough staff (only three at the front desk) and there was a big group that arrived right before we did. The staff tried to make it up by offering a beverage to us waiting in line. The hotel's facilities are okay for the price point. It is a bit far from Amsterdam's centers so not as convenient as we would've preferred but it was the best option for us booking so close to our arrival date. There is a metro station just across the street which makes traveling to the center a bit easier but trains stop running after midnight and you'll have to take a bus and walk a bit or take an Uber if you stay in town past midnight. Breakfast is all you can eat buffet but a bit pricey (over 30 euros) so we only ate at the hotel twice."

"Beautiful, modern, clean, easy access to public transportation. Breakfast Buffett had many options of delicious food. The elevator was new to us. You would put in what floor you needed and it would tell you which elevator to use. The room was gorgeous! Unique in its layout, with a tablet to control the lights, blinds, temperature, etc. We loved it! I would recommend it and would stay again."

"Truthfully was a little dissappinted, promised alot when i booked with parking (the reason we booked the hotel) etc but didn't deliver. Dont get me wrong the rooms were lovely which we couldnt fault but the way we were greeted from arrival was someone what disappointing, we were here for 5 days (4 nights) we didnt have hot water one day due to renovation work (i assume) being completed on the same floor. Requested reception on leaving that day to rectify and when we returned that evening they assumed it had been done. Fortunately it had but no one had reported back to reception that it had been rectified so we have to find out for ourselves by turning it on. On refelection after a few days of being back and having a think about it would we come back, probably yes but for a higher end hotel we expected more for the money we paid for the accommodation. Sorry to sound negative but all in all could of been so much better..Although not the hotels fault but there are major roadworks going on outside at present and they were operating heavy machinery all ours if the night ehich did keep us awake at various points during our stay."
