Had confirmed booking from expedia and was told they did not have the booking and it was cancelled- where in the desk clerk the night before confirmed that the room was booked for the extra night. No natural light- windows facing the next building...

"Staff were extremely friendly and helpful providing me with tourist advice, map, pictures of sites to help me communicate with non-english speaking drivers. One of them even volunteered to take me around Old Dhaka on his day off. Room is nice, spacious, modern. Breakfast quite complete but better for Asian breakfast. . . don't expect western style omellettes, etc. Problem with this hotel is that the hotels.com map linked to the hotel listing shows the hotel in COMPLETELY THE WRONG LOCATION.
