"It was just for a budget 2 night stay at first, but the hotel was surprisingly good. I guess partly because it has an industrial/ contemporary style design, everything is so easy to clean and so it’s clean! They have a gated parking for guests which is only assessable with room key cards, it gives a sense of safety that my car is secured while parking on site. The breakfast was okay, but the cappuccino was meh… staffs are friendly and helpful. The only problem is it’s about 20mins walk from where all the sightseeing stuffs in downtown Detroit are, and it’s 33 degree Celsius out there I rather take an uber (it’s just about $10 one way anyway)"

"The shuttle to the air port runs 24/7 so that was very helpful. However they dont make coffee in the lobby till 230am. There was no wash cloths in the bathroom and I never got the wifi to work but we had to go to sleep early so i didnt worry with it.. Bob Evans restaurant was within walking distance but dont get the burgers they were very dry."

"Met or exceeded every expectation. Not sure if I got some kind of super-secret deal, but this hotel delivered FAR more than I expected for the very reasonable price I paid. I travel to the Detroit area on business multiple times a year. I don't know how I never had this place come up on my list before. It will definitely be a "go-to" for me in the future. BIG place. Really much larger than most Best Westerns. A few miles out -- but close enough to downtown to be reasonable for daily attendance at conventions and the like. My single queen room was large enough. It was clean, the bed was new enough, the door had a modern lock, the bathroom was large enough. No complaints at all. More amenities than 95% of Best Westerns -- if I had a longer stay in mind this would be an excellent location. It has an indoor pool and hot tub, a guest laundry, the building wraps around an outdoor courtyard with a gazebo and garden. And the breakfast was also better than I find at most Best Westerns. I had fresh scrambled eggs, hash browns and biscuits w/ gravy. There was also a choice of cereals, yogurt and a variety of fresh fruit, and a choice of breads (and toasters). I compare to other Best Westerns as a point of comparison because, well, I have stayed at many Best Westerns and it is a Best Western. But my experience at this hotel compares favorably not only with other Best Westerns but also with Holiday Inn Expresses or Marriott Courtyards."

"Great location, walkable attractions, and incredible food, with excellent hospitality. My only complaint was a transportation issue that caused us to miss our first day of check-in. I was in contact with the hotel directly but received no response, so when we arrived, they gave up our room. This was eventually corrected, but I would like a credit for that day or a refund. Housekeeping was another issue— we didn’t see housekeeping until checkout, and towels and washcloths took hours to receive."
