"Very nice view of the lake. Very helpful staff. The rooms have a private onsen hot tub on the balcony. The rooms have tatami and are set up to sleep on the floor. You can request a bed frame to elevate the futon, but it's better to request a bed when making the reservation (although you may enjoy sleeping on a futon, Japanese style)."

"Nice location, only few mins walk to Kyoto Station. The Room was spacious and very clean. Staff were very helpful. Overall a good hotel. Highly recommended if you want to stay near kyoto station. "

"Updated older hotel, but very well kept hotel with good sized rooms. Buffet breakfast is excellent. There is a 7-11 across the street and restaurants and shops, including a supermarket (Fresco) all around the hotel. It is only a few blocks from two MRT lines. Staff were friendly and offered excellent service. "
