"The property is outstanding in its layout, well managed landscaping and cozy amenities such as a fire pit (already started by staff) surrounded by Adirondack chairs, indoor and a covered patio for dining (since it’s a dog friendly resort) and even a special doggie menu at the resort’s restaurant. The star employee has to be Rocky the black lab, who greets everyone as they arrive to check in or have a meal. The staff were 98% attentive, up to the last day when there was no one at the front desk to talk to. The wait staff just looked and ignored the woman who had been waiting at the desk first, she gave up and left. So I stepped up in line to see if anyone was going to address me, or at least tell me someone would be back in about X number of minutes. Nope, the two ladies I saw just glanced at me quickly then went into the kitchen area. I waited several minutes, then gave up also. All previous interactions had been fabulous, so I’m thinking these were new hires who didn’t know what to do. It will not prevent us from renting a cabin at Lake Side Resort in the future though."
