"Our stay was fabulous. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful and happy. Rooms were a good size (two adults + two kids), clean and the beds were comfortable. We faced Grafton St and did not hear any street noise. For dining, we had the breakfast buffet, food and drink service from the bar on the patio and room service. Everything was great. Hotel was a very short walk to the waterfront which was convenient. Our kids loved the pool. The pool deck can be very hot though. I would recommend this hotel to anyone I know and would stay here for our next trip to Halifax! "

"The hotel was very good. Location was great, although if you're planning on walking to the waterfront, be prepared to walk up hill. Breakfast was better than expected, as it mentions "continental", but the hotel did offer a good selection. The room was big and the beds were comfortable. The extra sink station was a nice touch. A few minutes after we arrived in the room, we got a call from front desk asking if everything was ok or if we were missing anything, which I thought it was quite thoughtful. I don't remember any of the hotels that I stayed at before doing that. I would definitely stay there again."

"This was my second time visiting this hotel after a great experience the first time in 2022. The rooms are clean with comfy beds. The staff are fabulous. The restaurant is lovely -- with a couple of vegetarian options on the menu. It's amazing that this hotel has access to the shoreline of Chocolate Lake, and I love having the option to sit outside and enjoy the water. "
