"The location within the park is wonderful - allows early morning solitary hikes - before the tour buses arrive. Hiking again around noon or after is also better as the tour groups are more spread out throughout the park. The buffet was really good!"

We especially appreciated the sunrise bike tour led by the owner, Mr. Wang, who is very knowledgeable about the history, geology, and ecology of Sun Moon Lake. He guided us to the best places for sunrise photography along bike paths of the lake.
