"The City Gate hotel is one of my two go-to places in Vilnius. As its name implies, it's right outside the city gate of the old town. The rooms are interesting with varied layouts. They are always nice and clean with comfortable beds. I highly recommend the excellent breakfast."

Room was spacious, bed was large and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. Location is awesome - right off the river - and easily walkable to Old Town Vilnius, where I had the best foods and drinks of my life."

"Easy check-in. Room was fantastic - clean and comfortable. Had breakfast with my stay; the little butter croissants are the best I've ever had. I could eat that and the roasted potatoes all day. Just as important, was able to charge all my devices with a wall USB port - very important if you forget to bring the international plug adapter with you for your American devices..."

"Brief stay before an early flight. Great location - easy to get to by bus from Vilnius, and although it is just a 5 minute walk from the airport, the rooms were super quiet. Extremely clean and very comfortable. Staff were great, and we were able to have a grab and go breakfast (although someone had already grabbed most of it!) to take with us. Had a very good (if short) sleep. Highly recommend. "
