"We had an amazing stay. As a regular traveller I have stayed in many resorts, hotels and holiday rentals Kurulu Estate is top notch and one of the most tranquil and relaxing places I have stayed. It is very secluded, with only two rooms on the property. It is in the jungle overlooking the mountains. This place really is a treasure. The whole time my husband kept asking me, "how did you find this place?" We were upgraded to the "best room". The design of the room was gorgeous, service was amazing...

"We spoilt ourselves with 2 nights in Ahas Pokuna. This is a truly special place. Greeted at the road side by Arun our naturalist guide we were immediately enveloped in the forest following a footpath (truly the only access) leading us up the the very exclusive camp. We were the only guest and had the middle of three tent suites/tree houses. The beautifully maintained grounds of the camp are full of birds and the staff are always attentive. The food is excellent and plentiful. Arun was delightful...

The incredibly kind owner made sure we had a wonderful stay, sharing interesting information about local life and tasty food. "Such a lovely little place to stay for the night. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were so kind and lovely, the home cooked food was some of the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka. They also arranged a safari for us, we had a jeep to ourselves, and saw many animals (elephants, monkeys, mongoose). All in all a fabulous experience, and incredible value for money. "
