"Do yourself a favor and stay here, you wont regret it! The location is incredible and the cottage has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The sleeping loft area has typically low ceilings, but that just adds to its charm. The kitchen is well stocked and the property owner came by to chat and give recommendations on places to hike and eat. This was my favorite place in the Faroe Islands to stay. I hope to return again soon. "

Unique Boathouse By The Foreshore | Sea View
3.0 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (3)
"This is a very unique and beautiful stay. It is a steep walk down a few steps to the boathouse and is a little tight with luggage. The washer and dryer are below the boathouse and accessible through a trapdoor and down a small ladder- it's fun to go down to. The shower is very small and you will be unable to stand upright in it- you just gotta sit to shower. Despite the few quirks, we absolutely loved this boathouse stay. It's a once in a life time experience and the views are astounding. We...

"Photos make this property look better than it is. For a solo traveler who is not finicky about spiders, it's a great cheap option and it honestly felt strangely like home by the end of my stay, but I would personally not climb up to the upstairs bunk. The bathroom is tiny. Toilet is facing a wall, which makes it very awkward to use, and the sink is so tiny that I opted to use the kitchen sink instead. Otherwise, the property has a kitchen and everything else you need for your stay. There is a...
