"It is a beautiful hotel and all the staff was fantastic!! The room was amazing! Fiona at the front desk went out of her way to welcome us. A perfect person to start our hotel stay. Very informative and welcoming! Our dinner and breakfast host Manjo (I probably have spelled his name wrong) was GREAT! "The hotel is charming. It’s not the most luxurious affair but everting is above average. Room comfortable and clean. Deluxe family has patio door with direct access to the garden is a plus. Their leisure facility is a bit tired and can be improved. Breakfast has enough variety. Staff friendly. Pleasant stay overall. Would recommend. "

"The cabin was perfect, really big compared to other ones ive stayed at. The hot tub was nice and private and such a good temperature. The breakfast was good and the food at the returant was great. Honestly couldnt fault the stay atall. The lady at reception was so welcoming and we will definitely be coming back! "

"Brathay Lodge makes for a very comfortable and convenient stay in the Lake District. The room was modern and well-maintained and the staff friendly and considerate. There is a parking fee (unless booked direct) but you’d have to pay elsewhere anyway. If you have an electric car it’s a good idea to let them know in advance so you can use their reasonably-priced ProjectEV charger. The continental breakfast was fresh and varied and set us up for the day. Would definitely stay there again. "
