"We really enjoyed our stay at the Gaia Hotel. It was just steps away from the train station which made it so easy after a long overnight journey from the US. Our room was ready ahead of time and everyone we met that worked for the hotel was nice and extremely helpful. The breakfast was outstanding and was great even for us as vegans. "If you like hot water and full pressure, the shower is great! My room was small, but I was traveling solo so there was plenty of space. Space. They brought a fan up for me because as an American we need moving air in a room! Windows open nicely as well. They could use a few more pillows on the bed. The hotel is very convenient to the heart of Basel. If you're coming in from the train, jump on the 30 bus and get off at the very first stop. The hotel is directly across the street. You'll also receive a travel pass for public transportation through your booking."
