"We took a private taxi and disembark at the entrance of the hotel. Our room had 3 floor to ceiling windows that opened to a courtyard, but had double shutters for quiet. The courtyard was next to a gondola stand, and though we’ve been to Venice before, we took a gondola ride for the first time this visit.
