A older property but clean and comfortable. I like the free breakfast in the morning. Above average compared to hotel at the same level. Staff was friendly. The hotel is in a great location to downtown Des Moines.

The only thing I can say about this terribly old and out of date hotel is that they had a wonderful and helpful staff... which we needed since the elevator broke twice and we needed their help often. The bed and pillows were the worst we have ever the displeasure of using. Every piece of furniture in the room was chipped and older than I am (50). We will not stay there again.

Overall not that bad. After Initially checking in the couch in my room was soaked with febreeze. The front desk quickly changed my room which was good. However after I got in the shower later that night the body was dispenser was empty. 😑😑😑 I had to get out. Go downstairs and get one from the front desk…
