"Gamirasu Cave Hotel is tucked away in a peaceful, tranquil setting, and offers a quiet retreat after a day of exploring. We were unexpectedly upgraded to a King Suite, which made the experience even more memorable. The room was stunning, spacious, beautifully designed, and unlike any hotel room we’ve stayed in, combining authentic cave character with real comfort and privacy including private sauna and jacuzzi. Breakfast each morning was fresh, varied, and clearly homemade with care. What truly distinguished the experience was the hospitality. Management and staff were exceptional, warm, professional, and genuinely committed to ensuring guests had a wonderful stay, and provided with support and transportation required for planned activities. The only considerations for future guests are practical rather than experiential: the hotel’s peaceful seclusion means it is somewhat removed from many of the main tourist sites which requires ample planning for transportation timing; and, as with many authentic cave properties, there are quite a few stairs, which may be challenging for guests with mobility concerns. That said, if you’re looking for an authentic, serene and genuine Cappadocia experience with distinctive accommodations and truly outstanding service and team, Gamirasu is an easy recommendation."

"Amazing staff, amazing place. Great value . Will definitely stay again. Unfortunately, we Found out breakfast was included by accident only after we attempted to pay on the last day of our stay. I wish Expedia would have made that clear. BTW, the breakfast was indeed first class!!"

"If you value good customer service DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. Its a shame as the hotel itself is ok and could be amazing, but some staff (not all, some were as helpful as they could be given the constraints from the hotel management) were unhelpful. We were not allocated the type of room we booked yet when I questioned, one member of staff just argued i was wrong (passive agressive attitude) despite me checking the room types on their own hotel website. I did a check in feedback from hotels.com and was very clear. We asked for extra chairs, and a coffe machine and were told this room doesn't come with this, (in the end we got the coffee machine but they removed the kettle). Ok, but we booked a different type of room! The hotel was full so arguing my point further would have been pointless, but no apology no olive branch just an insistence that I was wrong. So badly handled. I had emailed twice before we arrived at the hotel and received no acknowledgement. Our key broke in the lock while we were there, in fairness this was rectified quickly, our jaccuzzi bath broke, this was not recitified quickly in the end we told them not to bother as we wanted to relax. We were staying 5 nights i expected better. Breakfast was good for food but again no interaction from the staff, and they started clearing the room very rudely before 10.30 while we were still eating. What a shame. Such lack of customer care unfortunatley makes you feel uncomfotable which is not what you want on holiday."

"We really appreciated helpful staff. They tried to accommodate my request to move us to 3 different rooms because we had difficulty to walk up and down the stairs. All staff members from reception to breakfast room were very nice"

"We had an incredible stay at Divan Cave House, even though we arrived quite late. The staff were extremely welcoming and made us feel at home straight away. The only small downside was that the terrace wasn’t open later in the evening for a drink, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. We woke up early to visit Lovers Hill and came back to a sensational breakfast — a fantastic spread of fresh fruit, a great selection of options, and everything cooked really well. The staff were consistently helpful and pleasant throughout our stay. The rooms were fantastic — clean, tidy, and very well organised. The whole setup of the hotel is impressive. If I had to mention one minor improvement, it would be having a bit of milk available for the coffee station. Overall, I can’t speak highly enough of this place. A strong 9/10 for me."

"Fantastic hotel and views from the terrace. Cave room was clean and spacious. We used sister hotel’s swimming pool as well. They have decorated terrace and set up a model breakfast table for people to take photos with the balloon backdrop. Truly stunning. Staff is quite nice. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, lot of variety with both hot and cold items. They also provided breakfast box for the checkout day as we left at 6am. Hotel is located pretty close to the heart of the goreme town, walkable to many restaurants, stores, etc. The only thing I disliked was that their restaurant didn’t provide exclusive access or reservations to hotel guests. You had to compete with everyone to get a table. We were not able to dine there in 4 night stay."
