"If I had to point out a negative, it would be the lack of a supplemental water filtration system, rendering water just as hazardous as the rest of the island. That out of the way, the room was nice and spacious, with daily refills of bottled water, and they even kept the toiletries (including toothbrush and toothpaste!) topped up. Universal power sockets allow you to use your native adapters without being restricted to converters, and the balcony is always good. The on-site restaurant menu is surprisingly wide, spanning nearly every cuisine imaginable, and if that's not enough, several good restaurants are in walking distance using the beach avenue."

"Good central sanur spot. Not normally what we book. Hotel style rooms in corridors etc but staff were excellent and roof top pool in nice. Breakfast vast selection and you can eat inside (ac) or out by garden. "

"Akana Boutique Hotel is a wonderful oasis located in the southern area of Sanur, Bali. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped and if there was anything needed, we were catered for. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff really made all the difference. Most addressed us by name and all went above and beyond. This is a gem of a place to stay. "
