Alantara was a great hotel. The staff were so attentive. Nothing was too much trouble.My only suggestion to improve would be some new thicker mattresses on the sunloungers. Will definitely go back.

Lovely property, we very much enjoyed our stay. The shuttle to near the beach was good. A pity this resort isnt closer to the beach as there is not much within walking distance and on the other side of a busy road. But we knew that when we went there and the resort itself was beautiful and everything really nicely done.

We had a great stay at The Alantara. All the staff where lovely. Hotel is kept nice and clean. They even brought my mum a surprise birthday cake on her birthday 😊 and helped to come up with a different idea for her surprise floating breakfast as it was raining (Thank you!). We will definitely be staying here again when staying in Sanur.

Had an amazing stay here. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The staff were so friendly and amazing truly made the stay even better. Ika at the restaurant was incredible. The spa is beautiful and the treatments are endless. I definitely recommend getting a massage from Sri as she literally gave me the best massage of my life!

We stayed for a fortnight at the Alantara and enjoyed the tranquil setting around the pool which is surrounded by tropical greenery. The vegetarian options provided by the staff at the restaurant are also fabulous and the staff are very welcoming, a special mention to Febry who is a gem! Very friendly, warm and welcoming she greeted us by our first names each morning, she really manages the restaurant area very well. We enjoyed the cultural dance evenings and all the staff at the Pesisi are thoughtful and made specially cooked vegetarian meals for us. The staff make every effort to ensure you have a good stay. The hotel is located away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre but there is a free shuttle provided every other hour which takes you straight into the town. We highly recommend staying here for your next holiday.😊

We liked this property and the attentiveness of staff. It's not in a very convenient area and it's pretty far from any beach or attractions. Worked well for home base to scuba out of a Sanur dive operation.

Amazing

An incredibly nice boutique hotel. Design and service are outstanding. It has a traditional balinese feel, but what makes it even better is the service. Everyone is just so nice. Go for the suite, the outside shower and room are just fabulous.

The property was beautiful. The rooms were nice and clean and peaceful. A lot of young kids and families, so it wasn’t the quietest retreat type but it was nice to stay. The food was great. I would stay again. If I needed to stay in the city to be close to the airport. It took approx 20 min from the airport to the hotel. And that coat approx $30.USD

I don’t have enough good things to say about my stay here. Travelling solo as a woman in Bali, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect but the staff at this property made me feel so safe and welcomed. The hospitality here is truly unmatched and the place itself is gorgeous. Rooms are very clean, staff are courteous and respectful, pool is amazing, food is great.. It’s a great stay. The free shuttle to the city centre/Sanur Beach is awesome and runs every 2 hours from 9am-9pm- which is wonderful. Huge shout out to one of the sweetest, most hospitable staff members, Ita, who not only made my stay very memorable and fun but also taught me so much about Balinese traditions and culture. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The hotel is very lovely. Staff are lovely and helpful. Its a bit out of the way but nice and quiet. The pool area is gorgeous. What i didn't like, paid for a very expensive buffet style dinner one evening, that turned out to be nothing more than cold satay sticks and rice and cake. Very poor value for 350000. Also paid my final bill and was charged a 10 dollar transaction fee....will need to follow-up with them rewarding that ..

Nice, clean and quiet hotel tucked away from the town centre of Sanur but with a free shuttle bus that takeiyou straight to the heart of Sanur center every other hour. From there the beach is about an eight minute walk. Dining options could be more varied. Enjoyed the themed evenings. Good quiet pool area well stocked with towels with a choice of seating ie day beds or loungers. Would be good to provide more bottles of water ( also had trouble opening a few of the bottles) as you cannot drink the tap water in Bali. The spa is great and we had a few treatments there ( It would be an even better ambience if they provided relaxing aromatherapy scents (candles or incense ) in the treatment rooms themselves. The entrance area smells divine and nice if this was carried through. Overall a good place to stay and all the staff are polite, warm and welcoming. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay here, lovely atmosphere with wonderful and attentive staff. Extremely clean, spa and gym were a plus as well. There was also a shuttle that made it convenient to get to beaches and Icon mall, although private rides are also easy and inexpensive.
