The Jubilee Bridge in Queensferry, Deeside, North Wales. We used to drive over the "Blue Bridge" a few times a week as a kid on our way to see my Nan. It's has Grade 2 listed status, originally a double leaf rolling bridge but now a permanent road bridge over the River Dee. Photo taken from the North bank along the North Wales cycle path. You can also see Jupiter rising in the East!

After this shot I decided to run onto the "beach" for a more travel-like selfie, but it's not sand... It's pure soft, sinking, stinking silt. I immediately decked it and covered myself in reeking silt and just about managed to get back up. Then only a few minutes later the tidal surge rushed through - counting myself very lucky! VLOG coming soon!

This is why I always keep a spare change of clothes in the car...

Originally I wasn't happy with this photo - the wide-angle distortion, the fact my head's a tad out of focus - but considering the lack of compositional freedom at this spot I've come to appreciate it a little more.

Absolutely fantastic, the only downside was the lift wasn’t working on our side of the hotel, so it was a lot of stairs for my husband who finds stairs difficult. Xx

Great reimagining of splendid, huge, brick dockside building from Liverpool’s illustrious past. Sumptuous suite. Staff can’t be faulted. Good value. Crazy room numbering system or was it me being dim?!

Great place to stay right in the middle of town. Clean and safe. Good as not to far to go, downside noisy on Friday & Saturday nights. Car parking not on site, but very helpful letting us drive up and dropped our cases off early in the day and placed in our room. :)
