"We had a very nice stay at the Pratt Smith house. Ann and Allan are wonderful hosts, very accommodating, friendly, and just nice to be in their company. "
"My sister and I were bicycling on the Erie Canal path through town, and found this hotle to be a perfect stop for us. We also enjoyed our short stay in Little Falls, a charming little city. "
"Clean, odor-free. Comfortable, firm bed. Very little traffic noise. Room was small but adequate. Good value. Friendly reception.
There are two diners in Richfield Springs, about 8 miles east; a surfeit restaurants in Cooperstown."
"We picked it because close to Empire State Trail as we go from Buffalo to Albany and that they allow us to bring bikes into our rooms. Breakfast good, staff friendly "

"I've stayed at this hotel many times over the years (starting back in the 1990s), including before it became a Red Roof Inn (it used to be a "mom and pop" called the Herkimer Motel). It has always been well maintained, and its an affordable place to stay in the area, I use it as a jumping off point to go to Glimmerglass Opera and Cooperstown. The hotel was built in at least two, and probably three phases over the years. I was in the oldest part this time (which I've been in before). The rooms are on the small side, typically one bed, but they are the quietest. (The hotel is between a highway and an active railroad track). Be that as it may, it was very clean and comfortable. The rooms in the newer sections are considerably larger if that meets your needs, but they are somewhat noisier as well. I've used those two when traveling with others. The front desk staff was very helpful, only little item this time was that the ice machine was out, but they had a note on the machine that service had been called and they provided ice at the front desk. It basically kind of shares a parking lot with a Denny's, so there is a place for late night dining or if you want to eat there. The hotel does provide a breakfast which I didn't try (I typically don't eat hotel breakfasts anywhere) Again, I've stayed here many times and would not hesitate to do so again. "
"My small family pulled in after a long day of traveling and were warmly greeted by Keshang, who got us checked in quickly, offered water, and even a toy to my small son. Our room was super spacious and well prepared. Each morning offered a massive free breakfast that easily saved us $30+ per day.
The laundry facilities (2 wash/2 dry) are free to use and you can buy soap/dryer sheets at the front desk. Speaking of - someone is at the front desk 24/7 - I'm super appreciative of this. During a one week stay, I interacted with at least 4 staff members and each one was very friendly, pleasant to speak to, and offered help at every turn.
The only drawback is that there's a BBQ restaurant across the street that played outdoor live music on weekend nights. It didn't seem to go past 9pm so maybe there's a curfew, but when you're doing bedtime for a small child at 7-8pm, it was off-putting. We were on the far side across from the pool.
Aside from asking for a different room, we loved this location and would definitely stay again."
"This hotel is beautiful. The dining options are many and the pool and gym are excellent. When we checked in the front desk gave us ear plugs because of construction going on. Luckily it didn’t bother our sleep at all! Every employee we interacted with was lovely! "
"We stayed at this Hampton Inn because it was close to the Nexus Center Ice Rink. Our room was clean, staff was friendly and accommodating. Free breakfast was good, with multiple choices. Would definitely stay here again."
"Stayed here on our bicycle ride along the Erie Canalway Trail. It is right next to a trail and has a swimming pool. It has several grocery stores next door, but they all closed at 8 pm (a good place to grab yogurt or something like that for breakfast). There is a Domino's Pizza and a pharmacy next door. "
