"Property is within easy walking distance of the airport and rental cars. The rooms have been recently updated and they are also very clean. They have a large restaurant with good food on site. We would definitely recommend this place for anyone needing a place to stay near the airport. "
"We stayed at this hotel because it was close to the airport. The staff was wonderful and it was very convenient to the airport. It was right next to the Royal Highland Center - an event center, so there is possibility of noise. We would stay here again."
"What can i say but what a place from the staff , the bedroom, the 5* breakfast ( you must have the best breakfast in Scotland) it was that good the stunning views of the forth bridge and you have definitely got 5* wedding co ordinators nothing was too much trouble "
"The hotel is ideally situated between the airport and city centre. It’s about 15 minutes by car into the centre of Edinburgh, however there is a bus stop directly outside the hotel on the main road which takes you directly through to Edinburgh Waverley station. We wanted to visit the zoo so it was a perfect choice for us.
Check in was quick and easy, the front desk is friendly and very helpful. Our rooms were clean, quiet and amply stocked with tea and coffee. Towels were abundant and housekeeping did a light clean of the room everyday.
We had a decent sleep, the hotel itself is fairly quiet however our rooms overlooked a car park and occasionally we would be disturbed by the sounds of work vans in the morning- we had the windows cracked open so you can always close them and turn on the a/c if needed.
Breakfast was standard with hot and cold options available. The hotel also offers a selection of Starbucks coffees to purchase and these are available all day.
Overall our stay was very pleasant and I would recommend to anyone considering this as a place to stay.
