"This is not your average boring chain hotel. The decor is quirky, front desk hours limitless and there is NO ELEVATOR but we schlepped our bags up and down from our 4th floor room and had a great time. The location is at the intersection of 2 canals and is within an easy walk of most of old Amsterdam and public transit. The staff is super friendly and helpful. A great hotel find! "

"Terrible room with ridiculously small bathroom. Sink was such poor design almost unusable. Breakfast awful.. cold scrambled eggs and bacon, minimal cold meat cheese etc. Dining area gloomy and shabby. The only good feature was the very helpful reception desk staff."

"Housekeeping could have been better. Water glasses were not properly cleaned, a bath towel put in our room after cleaning was dirty, wash clothes were forgotten one day. Also, a problem with HVAC, was turned off inexplicably and had to call down to rectify."

"BED BUGS Absolutely disgusting property. I would discourage and even warn people not to stay here. My sister and I woke up with bites all over our bodies and visible bugs all over the bed( if you can see bed bugs, there is an INFESTATION"
