"It was extremely packed the night we got there and when we pulled up to the entrance there were 2 trucks blocking the "pull around" with 5 or 6 guys outside the trucks drinking. Cooler and empty cans readily visable on the ground. Went inside and there was no staff at the desk monitoring anything. Had to wait for someone to notice that I was even there.
Got to the room and it was relatively clean but there was only 2 pigs of complentry coffee with no sugar or creamer. Downstairs there was no coffee avaliable in the automatic earns and, again, no sugars or creamers.Back upstairs went to take a shower and there is a permanent sign telling me not fill the tub (shower only?) TP wasnt even on a roller....just sitting on the back of the toilet, unwrapped.
TV remote 1/2 worked but, yes the AC did work well, surprisingly. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. Noise level wasnt bad.
This is not the first time I've stayed at this place, the last time was pretty much the same experience but, I figured I'd give it another shot, we were only staying there for one night and it is conveniently located right next door to many resteraunts/fast food as well as the same parking lot as Walmart (Thank goodness I was able walk right over to the Murphys gas for morning coffee)
With all that said, I do understand that I was only paying around $70 for the night. You've got to consider that as well. I mainly picked this Hotel for the location, close to shopping/food."
"Surprised WYNDHAM would be associated with a low grade facility. Lobby locked requiring check in to a small hole, problem with door keys, no access to drinks or snacks, no breakfast, do cups for coffee at room machine, No hand rails in bath/ shower, no towel bars, no bottled water, Room deposit required for incidentals although nothing to buy. Indication it for damages as well. At checkout requested agent to inspect the room. No document obtained to verify inspection and no damages incurred. Being our first stay in Crockett, we relied on the Wyndham reputation; but in the end was very disappointed."
"Sign said pool was closed but they didn't stop us from using. It was a little cloudy but didn't smell or look bad. If Hotels.com would have told me about this when I booked I may have stayed elsewhere.
Jessica at the front desk was helpful with the area and food choices and anything we needed. She deserves a raise ."
