The staff were all warm, friendly, and helpful. If you ever plan to stay in Amarela resort, please take the time to walk the grounds -- they have an art gallery, beautiful walkways, a library, a massage hut, a garden, an infinity pool, a magnificent view of the sunrise, etc. The surrounding area is peaceful. "This place is like Heaven. Don't let the proximity to the airport dissuade you. Did not hear one plane the entire week we were there. The staff was amazing. (Special shout-out to Nadine you're the best!!!) The tropical layout with the most amazing pool I've ever seen, coming right up to your balcony makes it super relaxing and convenient. The food is wonderful with 90 entrees at extremely affordable prices. You won't be disappointed with The Roman Empire. We will definitely be coming back."
