Drury Plaza Hotel North Charleston

"Well where do I start, first the location was a excellent choice as far as traffic getting in and out of the parking lot. 2nd the atmosphere in the lobby was great! the check in staff were welcoming everyone and taking the customers right away to check them in. 3rd the elevators are pretty fast and there were 3 of them, with all smooth rides no oil smells, no rubbing sound , no parking motion. 4th it was the first time we had free breakfast and a free dinner which ive never heard of until now, the quality of the food was way better than most places we've stayed. Now the cons...the mattresses were not good quality nor the pillows, I would say they need to work on getting better beds for people that just want a good night's rest. 2nd con..they need more luggage carts! but those are my only complaints by far. Its a great place to stay hands down. If your in Charleston look the Drury up ..you'll wish you did.- happy camper"

"Hotel was clean and so was the room. The beds were comfortable and the bath towels were nice and thick. The pool wasn't anything special and the view from our window was of car parts and cars on bricks, but it wasn't a deal breaker. We'd stay again."
Tides Folly Beach, Charleston's Oceanfront Hotel

"Overall, we had a good stay at Tides Folly Beach, and the hotel itself was nice. However, the experience started on a disappointing note. We booked our stay well in advance, but our room wasn't ready at check-in. After a long flight and drive, waiting more than two hours with a toddler made the start of our vacation much more stressful than it should have been. To the hotel's credit, the staff compensated us for the inconvenience, and we appreciated the gesture. However, we didn't book this hotel for compensation, we booked it with the expectation that the room we reserved in advance would be ready when we arrived. Instead, we had to accept a Superior Oceanfront Two Queen room rather than the Premium Oceanfront King we had originally reserved. Aside from the delayed check-in and room downgrade, we had a pleasant stay. The location is excellent, and we enjoyed the rest of our visit. I hope the hotel improves its check-in process and does a better job honoring reservations, especially for families traveling with young children."

"The guys that parked the truck and open the doors were awesome the staff was amazing and amenities were awesome it was a great stay and it was perfectly located to shopping and the concierge was awesome it was a great experience it was 4 in a 2 queen room with seating more than another space for us four great bathroom I would definitely recommend this hotel"

"This hotel is a cute boutique artsy spot! The service was amazing! I was greeted with full service brining my luggage in and a glass of champagne. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The hotel is beautiful. The room was comfortable!"
