"Spent the weekend in Port Douglas. By The Sea Port Douglas is perfectly situated for walking to the whole of Maccrosso. St, the Boat Shed, Rex Park and 4 Mile Beach. The property is really well maintained and the staff were excellent. I highly recommend this property."

"I love the layout of the property but please be aware due to proximity to the rainforest there are A LOT of bugs. My wife and I fought for our lives against a giant cockroach and the villa definitely had a lot of ants and spiders. The plunge hours being limited to the spa hours was a downside for us as well. My wife recommends the facial! The private pool was awesome. Truly if we didnt have the bug issues I would have given it 5 stars."

"A great place to relax and unwind. Be aware the birds can be noisy at night and there's down time on the generator. Staff were friendly, food was great. Liked the kitchen and pool. Kids saw a cassowary which was a bonus."
