The staff was friendly and helped me with a stressful situation. But the internet connection was terrible. Netflix and YouTube were available but the internet was so bad nothing would load. The bed was hard. The location was great, close to the Crazy House and several restaurants.
Upon arrival we were assigned a different room than the one booked. Within 2 hours of checking in (we arrived at 6am after a long night of traveling) the front desk called to apologise and offered to switch rooms.
The room is small but really cosy and has all the things you could need.
The only thing I didn't like was the central skyhall as this generated a lot of noise and the rooms window looked out onto that skyhall.
We only had breakfast in the hotel 1 time and both my gf and I had the Vietnamese noodle soup and it was pretty good.
By far one of the best hotel breakfasts I ever had, and I traveled a lot.
At days we didn't have breakfast, the staff called to inform us breakfast was being served. While it was a very nice gesture to remind us, it interupted the sleep when we wanted to sleep a little longer.
All in all, this was a very nice stay and the friendliness and genuineness of the staff was something I will remember from Golden Bee.

A clean budget hotel with traditional breakfast included. The staff was nice and helped when asked (just be courteous, use simpler vocabulary and speak slowly, folks in Dalat speak less English than in larger urban areas. Or use google translate).
They have nice motor bikes for rental at a very reasonable price.
Street facing bedrooms are very noisy at night and in the morning— it’s a main road, so you hear the motorbikes going by.
The hotel seems new (or renovated in the last 2yrs), although our top-floor room appeared to have water damage from the roof down the walls making it seem older/in lesser condition than it really is.
Overall, it’s a good budget hotel and worth getting over a hostel if you are 2-3 people. If you have budget to go a little higher end, you might be happier.
