"I have stayed in a lot of hotels over the decades. This was all around Best. The hotel was bright, in a nice location on the edge of a good looking neighbourhood. Spotlessly clean with friendly staff. You could tell it was well run. The complimentary breakfast was well above average for presentation and an offering for most. Fresh, very drinkable coffee. Spacious bright Gym with decent equipment. Really enjoyed the layout of the double Queen suite. Central air circulation, a window that opens and blackout drapes. Quality amenities in room including a big walkin shower. Highly recommend. 5 minutes from BC Ferries."

"The room was clean. The blanket on the bed felt much better than other hotels in the same price point. We did have an issue getting into our room as the card wasn't properly registered but it was fixed immediately. We were able to go to the pool. It was nicely heated. We also the tried the pub found on lower lower level. The service was slow but that was because only one person was doing the serving. We don't blame him for his unfortunate circumstance. When he was serving us, he was excellent. Shout out to Payel for being a great server to us. Overall our one night stay was great. "

"The room was newly updated, modern, and very comfortable. The airport shuttle was confusing on arrival ,no signs or schedule at the airport or online. At the hotel, though, the schedule was clearly posted, the shuttle ran on time, and the driver was very friendly. I arrived at 12:30pm and asked about early check-in, but was quoted $60 even though check-in is at 3 pm. I would’ve preferred being told the room wasn’t available. Overall, an excellent stay. Great location close to the subway. I’d stay here again. "

"Friendly staff, clean room. Comfortable bed. Everything in the room was as expected. Fast check-in, fast checkout. The air conditioner, or heater, or whatever HVAC device is installed in the room noisy enough to wake you up at night."
