"Lovely restored building. Very quiet. Magnificent breakfast of regional meats and cheeses. Beautiful pool, unfortunately open only from noon to 7. You do have to cross what was for me a scary bridge to get to the casas colgadas."

You should pay for the rooms with views out over the canyon - we were on the top floor and the view was stunning! "We absolutely loved staying at the Hotel Posada San Jose. The views of Cuenca from our room and from the dining room were priceless and so beautiful! The staff was warm and welcoming and very helpful. You step outside of the hotel and you are within walking distance of all of the lovely sites of the historic center of Cuenca. I loved the "old way" of leaving your big room key at the front desk. "
