"Decent sized room (stayed in deluxe double) for 2 nights. Admittedly didn’t feel particularly deluxe as the furniture was old and it felt a little tired. Clean enough but could do with a refurb. Car charging onsite was handy and good location without being stuck in city centre."

"We had a very enjoyable 2x nights stay at the Queens Hotel.Very good riverside location,best to make sure you pre-book your parking space in advance.Very nice helpful staff,easy quick check in. The room we stayed in was very nice,very clean,could possibly benefit from having more plug sockets in room,bedside etc. Breakfast was very nice,good produce used.We also booked for the evening meal,which was very nice,good portions.All in all we had a great break and would definitely return to this hotel."

"Friendly and inviting welcome. The hotel was modern and quirky at the same time. The room was basic but had what you needed to be comfortable. It was a great breakfast with the best scrambled eggs ever! Only down side was that on arrival to breakfast I asked if there was a vegetarian option. I was told everything was laid out and labelled. It wasn’t until I had finished that I noticed a sign saying to speak to a member of staff to order veggie sausage. The guy who was ticking off names on entry to breakfast should have made me aware when I asked him about veggie breakfast. Would I stay here again? Most definitely and I would also look forward to breakfast😊 The rest of our stay, the staff were friendly and helpful."
