"Absolutely wonderful staff and a rundown property ready for renovation of rooms and bathrooms. Cleaners still kept it in a v clean condition. Breakfast - lovely fresh baked goods, fruits etc in a very pleasing continental breakfast. Absolutely awfully prepared Australian breakfast that I once tried - didn’t eat anything apart from eggs and would not recommend it. Dinners - depending on the chef - two nights delightful dinners- calamari and chicken curry- v yummy and beautifully served. Chicken schnitzel- ok. Another three nights terribly prepared dinners - barramundi, again calamari and fettuccine- not good at all- soggy calamari, almost raw veggies, unpalatable fettuccine - they need to seriously look into chefs! Smell of cigarettes as you enter restaurant/ pub - not good. I hope they will take this feedback constructively as staff made my stay v comfortable- thank you! "

"Sorry to say this but I know it will help you in the future The room is look's ugly and smell so bad, when I open the room, the smell come out straight away. The bed is too low can stand up straight and the mattress is no good at all, gives me sore back and body next day. I book in 3 sleep people sleep and only give me one big towel and 2 little one to use, service no good to me. I book in a lot of hotel in this web site, but this is the lowest one I have. "The Novotel staff and venue is fantastic. Sadly the licensed club below thinks it’s acceptable to have a DJ pumping at a stupidly loud level at 12.30 am on a Saturday and Sunday morning that we could hear on level 5. Wasnt so loud that you couldn’t sleep but the fact we could hear it all is unacceptable. Would have rated it a 5 star venue if it wasn’t for the stupidity of club management. "
