"I didn’t know at the time I booked the Rainbow Lodge but there is NO staff on site. When you check in, you have to wait to receive an email from Rainbow Lodge. Complete the check-in paperwork on your phone, upload a picture of your driver’s licenses and then wait for Rainbow Lodge to send you a text message with the code to access your room. This entire process takes a LOT longer than it should and much longer than if you talk to a human being, in person!! Had I of known about the check in process before I booked the Rainbow Lodge I would have stayed elsewhere. The room itself was fine, it was clean, the bed was comfortable. The AC/heating unit never turned off. I had to turn it on and off manually."

"This property should not be used until it has updates. The electrical system is very old, plugs won’t stay in, you have to unplug items to not trip a circuit and I felt unsafe. The heating wall gas heating unit did not function and I was very happy to see CO monitors in place. This unit looked like it was from the 40’s. The paint is chipped, there are large chunks of wood missing and an all of the faucets dripped water. This was not the unit I chose at booking but was given to us due to repairs on the original unit. The office, staff and restaurant were outstanding."
