"Loved this hotel. The layout of the room and hotel were excellent. Everything felt clean and spacious. The high ceilings and walk in shower elevated the overall feel of the room. The pool was perfect for the kids to play in and was clean. I loved the laundry set up too—I used the washer/dryer several times while we stayed. The breakfast was fine and consistent: scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage or bacon and pancakes. Check in was pretty quick and I had the option of checking in at a touch screen system or with the lady at the front desk."
"Cute. Comfortable beds. The are tall. They are about as hard to get on as the typical Holiday Inn ones. We appreciated having a freezer section in the large mini fridge. The paper towels are a good idea. There are 2 luggage racks! We were just talking about the problem of having only one rack for our suitcases and how a 4 person room should at least have 2. Then, we came here to find 2."
"Employees were very nice. Towel rack fell of the wall. Lots of parking. Close to a wonderful restaurant breakfast and lunch. Shops nearby. The room was clean."
"We’re so happy we chose TownePlace for our Bend vacation! I was in town for the Bend Yoga Festival, with my husband coming along to enjoy the community events. The studio with it’s kitchenette allowed us to prepare healthy lunches & smoothies everyday. On-site storage & charging for our ebikes meant everywhere we needed to go — from downtown to coffee to yoga in the park — we were able to pedal to. SIDE NOTE: Bend is an incredibly bike-friendly town!!!
Breakfast at Marriott was hearty & diverse enough that everyone from vegans to paleos — and their kids — will get a good start!
Also, dog-friendly place, for those who travel with their fur babies!
The pool was the perfect temperature to exercise or refresh in. The hot tub was a great way to unwind after a day of yoga & biking.
While we didn’t use the bbq, we saw families using it and the picnic areas, and they seemed quite happy.
Props to the staff — they were ALL very friendly & helpful.
Also — they are in the midst of rennovations that we walked past everyday but we were never once inconvenienced by noise, workers or equipment. I don’t know how they did it but props to them!!! I mean, we were there five days, and people were working in rooms. Amazing!
We would definitely stay here again!"
"We didn’t realize this was a VI property until we checked in despite being VI members. It was a nice option to be able to pay directly via Expedia versus using points. Perhaps because of this we were given a room upgrade. We had a two bedroom suite. The rooms were very clean. We had a great location by the pool and hot tub on the first floor and had two nice decks. The unit had a full kitchen, washer and dryer and air conditioning. The walk in showers had great water pressure and got nice and hot. It was more like an apartment vs a hotel room. The units look like they have recently been upgraded. The pool was cold but it is only June…the hot tub was great. There were games you could borrow in the club house and pool floats and toys. We didn’t use them but you get use of two bikes and there is a tennis court that also has pickleball courts. I don’t how The Pines compares in price to the Sunriver Resort but we thought it was worth the price and will definitely stay again."
