"Very nice upscale hotel but about a $28 pound taxi ride away from Edinburgh Airport. Expedia led us to believe that a free airport shuttle is available 7 days per week but in fact it’s not available on weekends. Remember M-F to book directly for the free shuttle. Food in restaurant is really good, with elevated prices to go along with the good food! Lounge area is very relaxed and comfortable. FYI, not associated with the hotel BUT, don’t bother booking a rental car with Hertz at the Edinburgh Airport, as that experience was absolutely horrible (do yourself a favor and check online reviews for Hertz at that location! "

"The staff couldn't be more helpful, refilling water bottles for tea/coffee, supplying extra decaf coffee. Allowing us to leave our cases, so we could enjoy our last day. Within easy walking distance of all the local amenities, if not a little hilly 😊"
