"We had a such a great time at the Salida Inn & Monarch Suites. The staff were very friendly & welcoming, in fact they went above & beyond to ensure we were satisfied with our stay. There's a free breakfast in the morning with a nice assortment of snacks & beverages. The property looks slightly rough on the outside, but the suite we enjoyed was one of the most spacious rooms I've experienced and was remodeled/updates. There's sufficient free parking and the hot tub in the rear was a highlight of an amenity. The location was right on the main thoroughfare Hwy 50/Rainbow Blvd. and a short 10 min. or less drive to the downtown Salida restaurants. Overall, for the value and location, highly recommended. We would visit again."

"We had such a great experience at the Grand Lodge. I've stayed here a few times before and the overall experience has been well worth it. The pool & hot tub are excellent, there's an on-site restaurant for breakfast, and the rooms are comfortable & have all the necessities. There's plenty of on-site parking. Additionally, the Town Shuttle has a pick-up and drop-off at Mountaineer Square, a quick walk from the lobby. Check-in was smooth and easy. We read some reviews about the property being "dated", but that seems unwarranted. 5-stars absolutely! Thank you."

"I travel for work and stay here frequently. The staff is wonderful and care about their product. They are constantly upgrading and updating an older facility to provide the best stay possible. I look forward to staying there again and seeing what they do to the place."

"The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking, and the air conditioning kept the tiny home cool all day long. The shower provided perfect control over water temperature, while the large windows offered stunning mountain views and filled the space with natural light. It was a truly peaceful stay."
