"We booked here as we had a wedding to go to 7 miles away. This place was perfect - got real character, we enjoyed a drink on our little balcony in the sun, walked into town and grabbed fish and chips and bits from m&s foodhall a stones throw away. Added bonus has parking. Room was top floor and 5ft 5 i had to bend to get in the door, so if not nimble or really tall, may want a different room. "What a great night at the Catherine wheel. We met Debbie when we checked in and she was so warm and friendly she made everything very easy for us. The room was clean, modern and very quaint. The food was outstanding in the restaurant with a good menu selection. There were 11 of us for dinner and you could tell everything was fresh and home made the pie was especially incredible. Thank you Catherine wheel we will be back again!! "
