"Motel was clean and comfortable, but the bed could have used some new pillows and blanket. We did enjoy that a hot breakfast was included and there was the use of the pool at the other sister hotel that was next door. We love Tawas!"

"This is a Lakeside hotel in Oscoda Michigan. I rated it based on those facts. Is it a five star hotel? No. Is it five stars considering where you’re going, what you’re doing? Absolutely yes. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was a continental breakfast. The beach is excellent. I mean, don’t think you’re getting some kind of Ritz. It’s Oscoda Lakeside Hotel. It’s exactly what it says it is. Also, it’s pet friendly!"

"The owner of the property was a very nice gentleman. Checking in was smooth. I got some groceries before I got there. Like advertised.. the cabin I was in was fully furnished with a full kitchen, living room, dining area, bedroom, and bathroom. But this needs to be known.. my only complaint. I’m 5’5” and 270 lbs. A #2 was very difficult because of how tightly fit in the toilet location was. I think anyone very tall and/or wide will have difficulties."
