Not the fanciest resort we've ever stayed at, but it comfortable and met our expectations. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. The resort staff was excellent and very helpful. Everyone on the staff that we came into contact was very kind and ready to help. We liked that the resort was close to the downtown and easy walking distant to restaurants and shopping. We'll likely book the resort again next year.

Location was great, right downtown on the beach. Property is dated but room was clean and updated. Fitness room is useless, no weights at all just a bike and elliptical. Couldn't get a workout in. However they have a couple different bars if you're in to that. Price was okay. Disappointed in lack of amenities, doesn't cost that much to add a set of dumbbells and a bench or two. Saying you have a fitness center is a stretch.

There was no info packet in the room. Nothing on how to contact the front desk, how to operate the tv, restaurants in the area. When called about problems with the tv, staff was not helpful and no maintenance available until the next day. Beach was nice, room was nice. Beach chairs were not plentiful and hard plastic made them extremely uncomfortable.

Loved location of room and the ability to walk anywhere in downtown east Tawas. I didn’t like that we weren’t able to check-in to our room until after 5:30pm as they said it wasn’t ready yet at 4:00 pm which is check in time. Also beds weren’t comfortable for me but that may be a personal preference.
